Tonight’s action starts at the usual 7:00 PM ET with two games on tap as the Heat complete their back-to-back in Washington where they’ll face the Wizards while at the same time the Magic host the 76ers. At 7:30, three more games get underway as Jazz-Knicks, Cavs-Nets, and Celtic-Raptors all tip off. At 8:00, ESPN has coverage of one of the most interesting inter-conference matchups as the Warriors look to continue their dominance over the Eastern Conference (except Detroit) as they visit Chicago to take on Jimmy Butler and the Bulls. Also starting at 8:00, the Rockets host the Pistons and the Thunder come home to take on Kemba Walker and the Hornets. At 8:30, the Mavs host Minnesota in an in-between game, and the night wraps up with a pair of late games at 10:30 with the Lakers hosting the Kings in a West Coast rivalry and the Blazers host the Hawks in the second game of ESPN’s double-header.
If you’re new to my daily post or need a quick refresher, here’s what to expect on the following slides in my DraftKings daily picks: at each position, you’ll find a slide for high-salary options and a slide for high-value options. Each slide contains at least two options with a few extras thrown in where possible. I base each pick on the current form of each player and the positional matchups each player will face in tonight’s game.
This month, I also have started to rank my picks using stars after each selection. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but the short version is “more stars=more confidence.” On the final slide of the post, you can see my recent results at each level of confidence. Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my lineups for tonight’s contests.
