The NBA  schedule is loaded tonight with both quantity (11 games) and quality matchups.  There are some solid divisional rivalries as well as some nice inter-conference matchups which should provide plenty of drama for tonight’s games. If you’re planning on getting in on the DFS fantasy basketball games tonight, check out my FanDuel daily picks where I’ve laid out my favorite plays from tonight’s exciting and star-filled slate.

More from Detroit Pistons

The games get underway at 7:00 PM ET with one of the three teams that are on the second night of back-to-back games–the Heat, Timberwolves, and Thunder.  Miami is the one team that tips at 7:00 from that group as the visit Washington to face the Wizards while at the same time the Magic host the 76ers.  At 7:30, three more games get underway as Jazz-Knicks, Cavs-Nets, and Celtic-Raptors all tip off. At 8:00, ESPN has coverage of one of the most interesting inter-conference matchups as the Warriors visit Chicago to take on Jimmy Butler and the Bulls.  Also starting at 8:00, the Rockets host the Pistons and the Thunder come home to take on Kemba Walker and the Hornets.  At 8:30 the Mavs host Minnesota, and the night finishes off with a pair of late games at 10:30 with the Lakers hosting the Kings and the Blazers taking on Atlanta in the ESPN nightcap.

Here’s what to expect on the following slides in my FanDuel daily picks: at each position, you’ll find  a slide for high-salary options and a slide for high-value options. Each slide contains at least two options with a few extras thrown in where possible.  I base each pick on the current form of each player and the positional matchups each player will face in tonight’s game.

This month, I also have started to rank my picks using stars after each selection. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but the short version is “more stars=more confidence.” On the final slide of the post, you can see my recent results at each level of confidence.  Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my lineups for tonight’s contests.
