High Value C

Kelly Olynyk-Boston Celtics (4,800): Boston’s revolving door in the front court seems to have thrust Olynyk back into a productive place for fantasy basketball over the last few games.  Olynyk has double-digit scoring in four games in a row and six of his last eight contests.  He has at least 20 fantasy points in five of those eight games including 17 fantasy points on Monday in Dallas and an impressive 39.3 fantasy points against the Suns last Friday night at home.  Tonight, the Celtics visit Toronto to take on Amir Johnson’s former team, but I actually like Olynyk a little better than Johnson tonight at his price. Who knows what coach Brad Stevens has is store for us though…∗∗

Robin Lopez-New York Knicks (4,700): Lopez gets much more stable playing time than the Boston options and will need to deal with Rudy Gobert of the Jazz tonight.  RoLo is coming off a double-double on Monday against the Sixers when he posted 33 fantasy points on 16 points and ten boards.  He has at least 20 fantasy points in eight of his last nine games making him a relatively safe cheap play at center if you don’t splurge on a big-name star.

Tiago Splitter-Atlanta Hawks (3,500): If you really decide to go cheap and punt the position, check out Splitter who is still playing limited minutes but producing in his time not he floor for the Hawks.  He has scored ten points in back-to-back games giving him 16 and 17.3 fantasy points in those two contests. If he plays 20 minutes tonight against the weak front court of the Blazers he could get to 20 fantasy points although obviously there’s a huge risk in playing him which is why he’s so affordable.
