Rajon Rondo throws down powerful dunk on Lakers (Video)

Sacramento Kings point guard Rajon Rondo threw down a powerful on the Los Angeles Lakers.

Rajon Rondo can do more than just dish assists to his teammates. He’s also quite talented at getting up and throwing down some powerful dunks if an opposing defense sleeps on him.

Against the Los Angeles Lakers, Rondo threw down a powerful dunk right on the Lakers and fell down to the ground from the power and force of the slam.

Rondo had a clear lane right down the middle of the paint and he took full advantage of the opportunity, as he took off for the slam.

Lakers forward Ryan Kelly went up to stop him and Rondo still managed to go around him for the dunk. Kelly getting in the way and getting some contact also probably helped Rondo crash to the floor.

The Kings are trying to make a postseason run for the first time in a long time. If they’re going to get there, it’s going to hinge on Rondo stepping up and making big plays for himself and his teammates around him.

If that means sacrificing a pass and making an incredible dunk, he can do it and power his way through contact for highlight slams.
