Rudy Gobert stuffs Carmelo Anthony at the rim (Video)

Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert stuffed New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony right at the hoop.

The Utah Jazz are a completely different team when they have center Rudy Gobert healthy and on the court protecting the rim. Against the New York Knicks on Wednesday, Gobert was stuffing the Knicks at the rim all night with big swats right back in their face.

His biggest block of the night came when Carmelo Anthony drove right at him for a two-handed slam. It was rather courageous of Anthony to try and dunk on the much larger Gobert, but just like everyone else who tempts fate, Anthony had his shot stuffed right back in his face.

It’s not too often that someone can make Anthony look so human on the court like that, but going up against a giant doesn’t usually yield positive results for those that are crazy enough to try.

Gobert continues to develop as one of the more dominant big men in the NBA and watching him swat all coming traffic away never gets old. When he was injured, the Jazz struggled heavily to man the interior without him.

With him back, they look like a team that won’t allow any points inside.
