No. 4 Villanova Wildcats vs Seton Hall Pirates

Villanova is one of those teams that seems to be getting stronger by the week. After being blown out by Oklahoma and then losing to Virginia on the road, the Wildcats have won eight straight contests, including a 31-point win against No. 6 Xavier and a solid road win against No. 18 Butler. This team has risen in the ranks all the way to No. 4 and is in serious consideration for a No. 1 NCAA Tournament seed.

Josh Hart has been the clear leader of the team, in terms of production, averaging 15.5 points and 7.1 rebounds per contest while shooting 54 percent from the field. Daniel Ochefu is another guy to watch for as the senior big man averages nearly a double-double, but hasn’t scored in double figures since the Wildcats’ last game against Seton Hall.

The Pirates, on the other hand, are dark-horse contenders in the Big East, but a 3-2 start to conference play has already set them back a bit. Seton Hall has lost two of its past three games, including at Villanova, and will be looking to get back on the right track and exact revenge on the 16-2 Wildcats.

Seton Hall won’t be able to pull off the upset without star sophomore guard Isaiah Whitehead who averages a team-high 15.1 points and 4.5 assists per game. However, his shooting has really held him back from being a dominant offensive force this year.
