Wake Forest Demon Deacons vs. North Carolina Tar Heels

The North Carolina Tar Heels have a prime opportunity on their hands as they sit a No. 2 in the rankings. If they can stay unbeaten in their two games this week, the Tar Heels will be back at No. 1 in the next poll. Staying unbeaten this week starts on Wednesday night inside the Dean E. Smith Center as they face off with an ACC opponent in the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.

Marcus Paige and Brice Johnson have been carrying North Carolina since Paige’s return to health and the lineup. However, center Kennedy Meeks is also back healthy and is more than capable of taking over games at any given moment if Paige and Johnson simply don’t have it on a certain occasion. Devin Thomas and the Demon Deacons will need to have it on Wednesday evening, though, as he and Bryant Crawford must deliver a supreme effort to beat UNC.
