There are a handful of NBA games on deck for tonight meaning we have plenty of fantasy basketball to breakdown in today’s FanDuel daily picks.

TNT has a solid Thursday night double-header lined up for tonight as part of the NBA’s five-game Thursday night schedule.  With ten teams in action, there are plenty of different ways to assemble your DFS fantasy basketball team.  To see some of the players who I think are best set up for success tonight, check out my FanDuel Daily picks on the following slides.

More from Atlanta Hawks

The first two games of the night tip off at 8:00 PM ET as the Clippers and Cavaliers get things going on TNT and the Pelicans also host the Pistons.  At 9:00, Memphis travels to the Pepsi Center to face the Nuggets in the middle game of the night.  In the two late games, the Kings return home to face the Hawks and the struggling Suns welcome in the Spurs.

It’s hard to know what to expect from the Spurs’ stars in Phoenix since Pop will rest them as much as possible. One thing you can know is what to expect from my FanDuel daily picks on the following slides. Each position has two slides assigned to it–one for high-salary options and one for high-value options. Each slide contains at least two options with a few extras thrown in where possible.  I base each pick on the current form of each player and the positional matchups each player will face in tonight’s game.

This month, I also have started to rank my picks using stars after each selection. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but the short version is “more stars=more confidence.” On the final slide of the post, you can see my recent results at each level of confidence (although I am a few days behind in getting all the numbers updated-hopefully by tomorrow).  Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my lineups for tonight’s contests.

In this post, all salary references and references to “fantasy points” refer to FanDuel pricing and scoring.  If you are looking for similar coverage specifically for DraftKings, check the box above for related posts or find the latest on our fantasy basketball hub.

If you have any questions about my picks for today or any of our Fansided fantasy coverage, you can leave them at the bottom of the page in the comments section.  For an even quicker response, you can find me throughout the day on Twitter @FansidedFantasy.  Check back leading up to the 8:00 roster lock, and I’ll have updated lineups if necessary. I’ll also give you any developing lineup stories on Twitter so you know what’s going on.

If you find my picks and analysis helpful for today and would like to check out my DFS fantasy basketball posts each morning, the easiest way to find the FanDuel daily picks is to drop a bookmark on our fantasy basketball hub or follow on Twitter where I’ll tweet out the links each day when my picks go live.

Ten teams will be in action for tonight, so let’s get rolling with my FanDuel daily picks for this Thursday, January 21.
