Video has surfaced of a Stamford Bridge worker calling Cesc Fabregas a snake.

Twitter user ArsenalMoh8 decided to share a pretty alarming video before Chelsea and Arsenal clash in a game that will be critical to Arsenal’s title hopes. A steward who works at Stamford Bridge saw Cesc Fabregas and called him a snake to his face:

According to the tweet, this video was taken earlier this season but he was only given clearance to share it recently. Whether the steward is a closet Arsenal fan or genuinely feels that way about Fabregas, he’s likely to be out of a job pretty soon.

It’s easy to think, though, that the steward did feel that way about Fabregas. When Jose Mourinho got sacked, many of the fans attributed the players for conspiring against him by purposefully not playing to win. The players who were accused the most included Diego Costa (who has sprung to life since Jose’s firing), Eden Hazard (who still hasn’t scored a goal this season), and Fabregas (who many thought said “I’d rather lose than win for Mourinho.”) And of course, the mentions on this tweet don’t mince words:

Chelsea’s upcoming game against Arsenal will be at the Emirates. When he played there last season, Fabregas was treated to a chorus of boos. It’ll be interesting to see whether his reception will be the same as last year’s or whether he’ll be given a hero’s welcome for getting Mourinho sacked and catapulting Chelsea towards the bottom of the table.
