Cleveland Cavaliers guard J.R. Smith made quite the tweet after head coach David Blatt was fired.
Cleveland Cavaliers guard J.R. Smith has always been one of the most interest players in the league. Whether it’s chucking up threes whenever he feels like it, riding hoverboards around with reckless abandon, getting his brother a roster spot or speaking his mind, Smith has never shied away from doing what he wants to do.
On Friday, the Cavaliers were the talk of the NBA, when they fired head coach David Blatt. With Blatt’s firing being somewhat of a shock with the Cavaliers in first in the Eastern Conference, everyone had something to say.
Smith was one of those people that had something to say and in true Smith fashion, he tweeted out something completely off the wall.
Rather than saying something cryptic or about his coach, Smith decided to let everyone know about the Madden Challenge and just how great it is. He isn’t wrong either. The Madden Challenge really is something else and something only for the most ardent of Madden players.
While people were expecting a reaction, they should have known that Smith was going to give them the most genuine Smith response and that’s what this tweet is.
