The NBA has announced the starters for the upcoming 2016 All-Star game and each of the league’s 30 teams has completed at least 41 games. In short, we have reached the halfway point in the 2015-2016 season, and that is yet another reminder that we have enough data to really begin to draw conclusions about most squads.

While the majority of fans of pundits are focused on the top of the league, our task here is to evaluate the dregs of the NBA. More and more teams have an incentive to ā€œtankā€ to improve draft position, and even those aren’t necessarily trying to lose are capable of incredible futility. Last week’s rankings can be found here, but each week is its own entity, and we’re back with another edition. Let’s roll through the teams beginning at number five and counting down to number one.
