Pennsylvania high school basketball player brings the backboard down with a dunk (Video)

A Pennsylvania High School basketball player really wanted to make a statement with this throw down.

When it comes to the sport of basketball, one thing that will never change is seeing an emphatic dunk that is just done to pure perfection. It will never get old seeing someone dunk with such ferocity that you can’t help but stand up and cheer for what you just witnessed.

Then you have some dunks that just simply blow your mind, and that’s what happened during a Pennsylvania high school basketball game on Friday night.

On that evening, Honesdale Area High School was taking on Wallenpaupack Area High School, at at one point in the game Honesdale’s Ian Langendoerfer drove to the rim and went up for the dunk. Well, he came down with the slam, but he also pulled off a pretty impressive Shaq impression, as he brought the backboard down with him.

Not only do rarely see the backboard come down in basketball games anymore, but it’s really rare to see them at a high school game. But, that’s exactly what happened here and this is one of the best visuals of 2016 thus far in the world of sports.
