The New England Patriots were looking for the tie in the AFC title game but they came up about as short as possible.

Well, as we all may have expected, the AFC Championship Game on Sunday between the New England Patriots and Denver Broncos brought all the drama that we could have imagined. These two amazing teams left it all out on the field, but in the end it was the Broncos that got  the win and will be heading off to Super Bowl 50.

Now how exactly they got the win was one of the more amazing aspects of all this.

With time winding down in regulation it looked as if Tom Brady and the Patriots might have the chance for the win. Well, when Brady hit Rob Gronkowski for the touchdown to make it 20-18, all they needed was the two-point conversion to tie it all up and potentially head to overtime.

Brady rolled right, and while things generally do go his way, they just didn’t this time.

With that interception, that was all she wrote for the defending Super Bowl Champions. The Denver Broncos will be heading to the big one and the Patriots will be heading back to Boston empty-handed.
