Where will Super Bowl 50 be in 2016?

Super Bowl 50 is almost here and it is never too early to start planning for the big game. For those wondering about where Super Bowl will take place, it will be in Santa Clara, California. The game will be held at Levi’s Stadium, home of the San Francisco 49ers.

The last time the San Francisco Bay Area hosted a Super Bowl was in January of 1985, Super Bowl XIX.

This Super Bowl is a big milestone because of the 50th anniversary of the game, making it the gold edition. They also switched away from the traditional Roman Numerals to avoid the unfortunate lone L, which has a connotation with losing.

If you’re headed to the Bay Area for the game, make sure to keep in mind that you will need to explore traveling options. Levi’s Stadium is about 43 miles and a 50-minute drive from the heart of San Francisco, and that’s likely without traffic meaning getting to the stadium on the big day could be difficult.

That being said, the Bay Area is an incredible place to host the game with lots of entertainment possibilities. There is Alcatraz, the redwood forests, the Golden Gate bridges and beautiful views.

If you wanted to go to a Super Bowl, this is the one that could be one of the best both in game, production and location.
