Here are five reasons the Carolina Panthers can win Super Bowl 50.

They live to dab another day. The Carolina Panthers went 15-1 this season. They hung on and beat the Seattle Seahawks in the Divisional Round and absolutely destroyed the Arizona Cardinals in the NFC Championship game.

Are there flaws on this team? Sure. The secondary outside of Josh Norman isn’t the best and was certainly exposed by the Seahawks in the second half of their game. Their wide receivers don’t scare you. But it doesn’t matter. The Panthers found a way to win every game but one so far and the train will run into Santa Clara for Super Bowl 50.

Former general manager Marty Hurley deserves credit. He drafted guys like Cam Newton, Johnathan Stewart, Luke Kuechly. He traded for Greg Olsen, who was Newton’s favorite target. He signed running back Mike Tolbert in free agency.

New general manager Dave Gettleman came in and drafted guys like defensive tackle Star Lotulelei and brought in offensive tackle Michael Oher and wide receiver Ted Ginn. Newton matured under the tutelage of Ken Dorsey and Mike Shula and now find themselves one win away from the franchise’s first Lombardi Trophy.

The Panthers may not win pretty. They aren’t going to necessarily wow you with playmakers on offense. They are a team that just wins and finds a way to get it done.

So what are the five reasons why the Panthers can win Super Bowl 50? Here we go.
