High Value PF

Ersan Ilyasova-Detroit Pistons (5,500): There is a decided lack of midrange options tonight in general, but I do like Ilyasova against the Jazz who will likely still be without Derrick Favors.  Ilyasova had 26.26 fantasy points against the Nuggets on Saturday on nine points and nine rebounds giving him at least 25 fantasy points in five of his last six games.  He should be able to take it to the Jazz tonight as long as Favors remains out or only comes back in a limited fashion. No Favors-∗ With Favors-

Darrell Arthur-Denver Nuggets (4,500): There are three solid sleeper options at PF which is nice due to the lack of mid-range options.  One who could step up is Arthur who will likely start in place of Kenneth Faried tonight against the Hawks.  Arthur had 22.75 fantasy points in his start on Saturday with four points, four steals, five rebounds, and three assists.  He has at least 20 fantasy points in seven of his last nine games and has the potential for a double-double when he’s at his best.  With Faired out, he’s a solid play, but he’s too risky if Faried starts in front of him.  With Faried-no stars, Without Faried-

David West-San Antonio Spurs (4,000): It will be interesting to see how the Spurs attack the small-balling Warriors tonight.  West will likely start in place of Tim Duncan, but often opposing big men see very few minutes due to the constant mismatches Golden State creates.  West has played well when given extended time tiwh at least 20 fantasy points in four straight games which is a solid return at this price.  His unclear role against Golden State makes him slightly higher-risk, but he is one of a few nice sleeper picks at PF. ∗∗∗

Josh Smith-Houston Rockets (4,000): So far, a change of scenery has been great for Smith who has played much better since heading back to Houston.  In each of his two games back with the Rockets, Smith has played over 20 minutes and scored 25 or more fantasy points. If Dwight Howard is able to return tonight, he could lose some time, but he has definitely energized the team and increased in fantasy relevancy.
