Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich had a bit of fun by grabbing a sideline reporter’s ear as the coach walked by

San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich is one of the most entertaining personalities in the NBA (and outside the league in my opinion) by merely not trying to be entertaining at all. On Monday night as his Spurs team prepared for a gigantic matchup with the Golden State Warriors, Popovich only further proved that point by having a little fun with a sideline reporter who was just trying to do his job.

Rather than giving him a short answer in an interview in regards to giving the reporter a hard time, the CSN Bay Area employee was on the microphone when Popovich walked behind him and, just for good measure, gave the reporter a friendly grab on the ear that made the reporter crack a smile:

How the CSN Bay Area man didn’t just lose his train of thought and bust up laughing is beyond me. They don’t normally cover how to hold your composure when an NBA coach comes by and massages your ear in on-air training, or so I’ve heard.

Popovich just needs to be involved with everything in the NBA, regardless of if the Spurs are involved. Thankfully, we’ll get to see more of him at the NBA All-Star Game as Pop will likely coach the West All-Stars. Considering how far from thrilled he’s going to be for that, everyone should anticipate some classic moments from Popovich.
