The 2016 Senior Bowl can make or break these five prospects’ draft status

The Senior Bowl doesn’t entirely determine any prospect’s NFL Draft status. However, for these five players, it will play a huge role in determining if/when their name is called on Draft Day.

Certain prospects will descend upon Mobile, Alabama looking to make names for themselves while others just want to avoid having their flaws exposed. No prospect will arrive with their draft status locked in stone so everyone has something on the line.

However, some prospects will have more to gain or lose than others. Whether they have questionable off-the-field baggage to account for or need to show they can excel against top-tier competition it will be a crucial time. This is not the time to have a bad week if you want to improve your draft stock.

Position doesn’t matter either. There are guys with a lot to prove here who play in the trenches as well as skill players. No position group is immune to the intense scrutiny at the Senior Bowl week.

So read on to find out what five players have more at stake than any others. These five guys will be sweating bullets under the hot lights of hundreds of NFL scouts this week at the Senior Bowl.
