Los Angeles Lakers head coach Byron Scott appeared to threaten a troll on Instagram.
It’s probably a great idea for high-profile people to have someone else manage their social media accounts and for those very same people to probably not look at the comments. It looks like Los Angeles Lakers head coach Byron Scott didn’t take that advice and got into a battle with a troll.
No one really likes trolls, so it’s easy to see why he may have gotten upset with one. They aim to hang out in the comments section and say things behind a keyboard because they don’t have to worry about the ramifications of saying whatever they want on the internet.
After Byron Scott’s Instagram account posted a video of Scott boxing in the gym, one troll decided to go after the head coach. Rather than ignoring it and not reading the comments, it appears that Scott went after the troll and even went as far as to threaten the troll as well.

Now it’s not clear that Scott was the one making the threats, but it’s an absolutely bad look for the coach regardless of who made the comments. If there’s one great bit of advice that everyone can use on social media, it’s not to read the comments because that’s where the trolls hang out and they have nothing better to do than start trouble.
Unfortunately, it looks like Scott couldn’t ignore it and wanted to pummel the troll. He was always a tough guy on the court that never backed away from a challenge, but this is one thing he should have never gotten involved with if he did.
