We got a look on Tuesday at the Clemson Football schedule for the 2016 season coming up.
Last season the ACC –and nearly the college football world– belonged to the Clemson Tigers. Led by Heisman finalist Deshaun Watson and a ferocious defense, the Tigers earned themselves a berth in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game, which they unfortunately lost to the Alabama Crimson Tide.
However, this team will be going nowhere in 2016. With Watson back, this squad will look to make yet another run at the National Championship, and this is certainly a goal that they can attain if they play near the level they did this past season that just ended.
But to get to that point, they’ll have to navigate through their schedule, which the conference released in full on Tuesday. And to make it a little better, Clemson even put the slate into a nice GIF form.
New Season. Same Dream.

To get the year started they can earn themselves a nice win over an SEC team, albeit that team is the Auburn Tigers who have been struggling since they were in the BCS Championship Game two seasons ago. Then, of course, there’s the annual game against the Florida State Seminoles, will once again more than likely determine who ultimately gets a spot in the College Football Playoff.
What do you think? With this schedule can the Tigers run the table once again and earn the right to chase the trophy that narrowly eluded them earlier this month?
