Kobe Bryant might not be playing tonight but he still wants his seat on the bench.

The Los Angeles Lakers are taking on the Dallas Mavericks at home on Tuesday night, and unfortunately, Kobe Bryant is not making an appearance in this one as he completes his retirement tour. Kobe is taking the night off here, however, you had better save him a seat on the bench to watch the game.

If you don’t save him a seat on the bench, then you will feel the consequences.

Early in this one Kobe was looking to take a seat on the bench but it was all filled up. So, with that being the case, someone had to take the loss here, and that person was rookie Larry Nance Jr. Kobe gave the order and Nance promptly took his seat on the floor.

Hey, man, you have to learn to pay your dues. And when the king wants one of his thrones, you’re gonna have to bite the bullet and take your seat on the hardwood so he can relax and be comfortable.

Really, some people might have a problem with this and see Bryant as being just a little too full of himself, but this is all part of being a rookie in the NBA.
