In a weird turn of events, the Brooklyn Nets somehow tipped in a basket for Miami Heat forward Justise Winslow.
The Brooklyn Nets are in the giving mood against the Miami Heat on Tuesday night. With the holiday spirit still in their veins, the Nets helped Heat forward Justise Winslow score an improbable basket that bounced its way off Nets defenders.
As Justise Winslow went to make a drive, it looked like he had the ball stripped away by Bojan Bogdanovic. Except the ball didn’t come out clean, bounced off Bogdanovic’s arm and somehow went straight up into the basket for two points awarded to Winslow.
The play is just as strange as it sounds.
It’s not your everyday shot on the court, but when gifted with such a shot, it’s best to just to take it and be thankful for the gift you have received. Winslow probably hasn’t had the aid of a defender on many shots in his career before, but there’s always something new in the NBA.
As for Bogdanovic, it was a great job of getting his hands active and forcing the ball loose. It was just a terrible job of corralling the loose ball and keeping the opponent off the board.
