Los Angeles Clippers vs. Atlanta Hawks

The Los Angeles Clippers are embroiled in controversy right now over the entire Blake Griffin fiasco that has left the All-Star power forward out for at least the next month with a broken hand after punching a member of the equipment staff. They’ll have to get it together on Wednesday night against the Atlanta Hawks in Phillips Arena, though.

Griffin’s absence isn’t anything new for the Clippers as he’s been missing time with a quad injury over the last month. However, they’ll need Chris Paul and DeAndre Jordan to step up and continue carrying the load for the team with Griffin’s time out being prolonged as their schedule gets a bit tougher. Meanwhile, the Hawks have quietly been making a move to start the second half of the season with Paul Millsap and Al Horford tearing it up in the Eastern Conference. They could make a statement by knocking off the Clippers on Wednesday, without question.
