DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-January 27
Get in the DFS fantasy basketball action for this Wednesday, January 27, with the help of my DraftKings daily picks.
This Wednesday, the NBA has eight games on tap that offer some pretty good matchups for fantasy basketball players. While eight games is a pretty light schedule for the typical Wednesday, 16 teams is plenty to pick from for your fantasy basketball roster. As you select your team, check out my DraftKings daily picks on the following slides to see the options that I like the most.

The big game of the night is the late game when the Warriors have a chance to avenge one of their few losses as they welcome in the Mavericks to ORACLE at 10:30. Most of the main contests of the day start at 7:00 PM ET, though, when the the Suns travel to Cleveland to take on LeBron and the Cavs after Phoenix lost last night to the lowly 76ers. At 7:30, Philadelphia also hits the road as they look to make it two in a row against the Pistons while at the same time the Celtics host the Nuggets at the TD Garden. At 8:00, the ESPN double-header gets underway with the Rockets and Spurs meeting in San Antonio while the Thunder-Timberwolves and Clippers-Hawks games also have an 8:00 tip off. At 9:00, the Hornets continue their western trip as they take on the Jazz in Utah in a rematch of their great game from last week.
With those 16 teams in action, there are lots of different ways to build your DFS fantasy basketball lineup. To see who I like tonight, check out my DraftKings daily picks on the following slides. You’ll find two slides per position–one for high-salary options and one for high-value options. Each slide contains at least two selections with extras thrown in where possible. I base each pick on the current form of each player and the positional matchups each player will face in tonight’s game.
This month, I also have started to rank my picks using stars after each selection. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but the short version is “more stars=more confidence.” On the final slide of the post, you can see my results for the last three weeks at each level of confidence. Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my lineup for today’s contests.
