For the third night in a row in the NBA, there is a good amount of action on the schedule. After there were nine games on Monday and then eight games on Tuesday, there are also eight games on the docket again on Wednesday, Jan. 27. That means that there are 16 teams in action on Wednesday and as many teams for daily fantasy basketball players to construct their DraftKings lineups and to dig through rosters to find the best sleepers for the day.
On Tuesday night, there were a number of sleepers around the league who produced at a solid level. Indiana Pacers center Ian Mahinmi had a nice night, as did Sacramento Kings rookie center Willie Cauley-Stein and Phoenix Suns center Alex Len. Meanwhile, Brooklyn Nets guard Joe Johnson had a solid all-around night, the same of which can be said for Phoenix Suns young guard Archie Goodwin and a pair of New York Knicks in Derrick Williams and Langston Galloway, both playing off the bench in Madison Square Garden.
The action gets started with a lone game at 7 p.m. ET as the Phoenix Suns will travel to Ohio to take on the Cleveland Cavaliers. The slate in the middle of the night will get hectic with two games starting at 7:30 p.m. ET and three games starting at 8 p.m. ET. The highlights of those games include the Houston Rockets going on the road to play the San Antonio Spurs, the Los Angeles Clippers playing the Atlanta Hawks, and the Oklahoma City Thunder facing off with the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Charlotte Hornets will take on the Utah Jazz at 9 p.m. ET and then the night will conclude with the Dallas Mavericks facing the Golden State Warriors at a 10:30 p.m. ET start time.
