Nerlens Noel rides Andre Drummond for intentional foul (Video)
Philadelphia 76ers center Nerlens Noel went for a ride on Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond for an intentional foul.
Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond is really bad at free throws. He’s so bad at free throws that he might actually be worse than anyone else to ever shoot a free throw in the NBA. He’s literally so bad, players hop on his back like a horse to intentionally foul him.
He’s so bad, players have fouled him five times in nine seconds. On Wednesday night against the Philadelphia 76ers, Drummond got the riding variety again, as 76ers center Nerlens Noel decided to hop on his back on the block to intentionally foul him and send him to the line.
It was so egregious of an intentional foul, that it reminded everyone just how ridiculously out of control the free throw missing epidemic by some players in the league is getting.
Noel didn’t even hesitate either. He jumped right on him and looked like a professional bull rider.
All of this wouldn’t happen if Drummond worked on his free throws, but they haven’t improved at all. That means everyone is going to keep doing stuff like this to send Drummond to the line and it’s going to look even more ridiculous each time.
