It is coming to the end of the January transfer window. Here is a transfer for every Premier League that they need to make before Feb. 1st.

The January transfer window is often a tempestuous affair. It is difficult to find quality for a good price. Many players are bought based upon a good start to the season and a £10 million pound player quickly becomes a £20 million player. Teams are desperate to pick up players, whether it be to stave off relegation, challenge for the title or work their way up the league table.

Many organizations are scrapping it out and are willing to overpay for players that can have an immediate impact of a team’s seasons. This year, like any other, there are a host of teams in such scenarios. Down at the bottom of the table, Newcastle United have already spent significant money this January transfer window bringing in French winger Henri Saivet and Swansea midfielder Jonjo Shelvey, spending more than £20 million in the process.

Both deals seem indicative of the January transfer window. Two decent players who have been overpaid for due to the desperate situation that Newcastle find themselves in. Joining the North East club in the doldrums of the Premier League are rivals Sunderland, Swansea and Norwich. All these sit above the cut adrift Aston Villa who have been desperately trying bring in anyone and everyone. Remi Garde even made an ambitious loan move for Chelsea forward Loic Remy.

While all these teams will be scrapping for players to save their season, the likes of Arsenal, Manchester City and Leicester will be hoping to bring in players that can ignite them towards the Premier League trophy. Both are important as the other, and are what drive the business in January. Bargains can be found, but they are hard to come by.

Here is a player for every Premier League side that they should sign before the February 1st deadline.
