Arsenal: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is the hottest striker in world football right now. His goal scoring talents have elevated him to a truly world-class level, and he would be an exceptional signing for any of Europe’s top clubs. He is also in excellent form and would be able to slot into any side right away and perform at a high level, no matter what league.

Arsenal are short of a world-class striker. While Olivier Giroud is a more than adequate player to lead the line and Theo Walcott does offer another option, especially running in behind, neither are of the same quality as Aubameyang. The Dortmund striker would walk into the Arsenal side and would elevate their squad into the best in the league. A front three of Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez and Aubameyang is truly frightening.

Moreover, this Arsenal side need a push as they challenge for the title. This is the most open Premier League title race in years and Arsenal have as good a chance as anyone. Bringing in a world-class player like Aubameyang would galvanize the squad heading into the crucial final few months of the season. The Gunners are currently top of the league, but to stay there come May, they just need a little more, especially in the forward department.
