The Carolina Panthers are off to Super Bowl 50, and the prophecy of Cam Newton is almost complete. He was drafted as the No. 1 overall pick to do this very thing — lead his team to the Super Bowl and to a title. He’s 60 minutes away from seeing this through, but along the way Newton has become a national superstar who fans in Charlotte have rallied around in a pretty big way.
