Following his dismissal from Missouri, Maty Mauk penned a letter to the fans that he let down.
The Missouri Tigers dismissed quarterback Maty Mauk from the football team recently, following the latest negative incident surrounding him. This week video surfaced of Mauk snorting cocaine, and while it was reported to be a little outdated, the football program really had no choice but to get rid of him after another strike against him.
So with that now over and done with, it’s time for Mauk to start on the road to redemption and forgiveness, and with that being the case, he has reached out to everyone.
On Thursday, Mauk penned a letter to the Missouri fans addressing his dismissal from the football program.

That’s not the end all be all here, but it’s a good start for the embattled signal caller. Time and time again Mauk found himself in the Missouri doghouse and this time they just had to kick him to the curb. It was a harsh reminder that no one is invincible, no matter how valuable they might be to a football program.
There’s no telling where Mauk goes from here now that he’s no longer a member of the Missouri football team, but from the looks of this letter, if it is sincere, he seems to be on the right path to never being in the negative light ever again.
Hopefully this is exactly the case here, because he is a talented young athlete.
