No. 23 Oregon Ducks vs No. 18 Arizona Wildcats

Tied atop the Pac-12 near the midway point in the conference season, the Oregon Ducks are looking to separate themselves from the fellow first-place Washington Huskies. Taking down one of the best teams in the conference, Arizona, would be a huge step in solidifying themselves at the top of the conference standings.

Oregon wouldn’t have been able to win 5-of-7 conference games without a top offense behind the likes of Dillon Brooks, Elgin Cook, Tyler Dorsey and Chris Boucher. Brooks is the team’s leading scorer, averaging 16.2 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. Boucher has been a force in the post and another notable player for the Ducks, averaging 12.3 points, 7.9 rebounds and 3.3 blocks.

After starting the season 13-1 with a Pac-12 opening win over Arizona State, the Arizona Wildcats have gone just 3-3 in the past six games, failing to really take what should be theirs — the conference title. Arizona is the most talented team in the conference, in my opinion, and taking care of business at home against a ranked opponent is imperative.

Ryan Anderson has been a stud for the Wildcats this season, averaging 14.9 points and 10 rebounds per game — both team-highs. Gabe York is another kid to watch for. He’s averaging 13.9 points and is shooting nearly 44 percent from three-point range. Don’t forget about Kaleb Tarczewski who is averaging 10.7 points and 8.3 rebounds.
