Wizards are wearing blasphemous sleeved throwbacks (Video)

The Washington Wizards are wearing blasphemous sleeved throwbacks.
When the Washington Wizards announced they were going to have a throwback uniform night, we all wondered just how throwback they could go. After all, the current makeup of the team’s uniform is an homage to their days as the Bullets, and the scheme hasn’t changed too much in the history of the franchise.
But that’s where sleeves come into play.
The Wizards rolled out ‘Pride’ uniforms that feature a throwback to an old Baltimore Bullets look but adds sleeves to it. For some unholy reason, sleeves have traveled back in time and become one with what we’re trying to call throwbacks uniforms.
Just — I mean, I don’t know.
While all of the millennials who are being targeted by the merchandising of these sleeved uniforms, they should know that the Bullets never wore sleeved uniforms. So, by putting sleeves on what you’re trying to market as throwback uniforms, you’re basically getting your own history wrong.
And you’re lying. Adam Silver, we expected so much better than this.
The Wizards deserve to be turning the ball over like they are in that clip if they’re going to wear sleeved throwbacks.
God help us all.
