A Chicago Bears fan used her own obituary to throw shade at Jay Cutler from six feet under

The Chicago Bears have had some awful luck with their quarterbacks. How bad has their history with quarterbacks been? Well, fixing Jay Cutler basically got Bears offensive coordinator Adam Gase a job with the Miami Dolphins as their head coach. Yup, a reclamation project led to Gase landing a top position within the league.

A Bears fan named Elizabeth Bowman passed away on Monday, but did not go silently into the night. Apparently never coming to terms with Cutler’s lack of success in the Windy City, she used her obituary to thank her beloved Bears while also throwing some shade at their quarterback from her grave.

From the Chicago Tribune:

"Elizabeth Porter Bowman, 78, of Northbrook, Illinois died peacefully January 9, 2016, surrounded by her children. She was a woman of loyalty, integrity, opinion, curiosity and intelligence. A lifelong fan of the Cubs, Blackhawks and Bears (except Jay Cutler)."

That is a cold-blooded insult to throw at Cutler from the afterlife. Cutler seems like the type of guy who doesn’t really care what anyone thinks about him, however if he read that it had to at least sting a little bit.

Cutler had a career high 92.3 passer rating during the 2015 season. He threw for a career low 11 interceptions with 21 touchdowns. He passed for 3,659 yards and completed 64.4 percent of his passes. Not a bad season at all, though apparently not good enough for the late Ms. Bowman.
