The San Diego Chargers have reportedly agreed on a deal with the Los Angeles Rams to share a stadium with them in Inglewood.

The Los Angeles Rams may indeed have a new roommate. After the Rams announced they were moving back to Los Angeles a couple of weeks ago, they still had to go through the process of possibly adding a tenant to their stadium in Inglewood. The San Diego Chargers were expected to join the Rams in Los Angeles if the two sides could come to an agreement, and it appears that they have done exactly that.

According to NBC7 San Diego, the two sides have reached an agreement in principle to share the stadium in Inglewood.

The move comes hardly as a surprise, as the two sides were expected to come together once it was announced that the Rams would be moving back home. The Chargers had the first choice of joining the Rams and it was unclear whether or not they would move right away, but the team has acted quickly in finishing up a deal with the Rams.

In terms of relocation questions in the NFL, that leaves the

Oakland Raiders

as the sole team with questions about where they will be playing next. What is known is that the Rams probably have someone to eventually share a brand new stadium with them.

Everything is in the Chargers and Dean Spanos’ hands now, so we’ll see where they go from here.
