LeBron James played bad help defense and yelled at Tristan Thompson because of it

Considering the firing of David Blatt, things are less than stable right now with the Cleveland Cavaliers. A big part of the problem has reportedly been LeBron James’ role in the team and the organization and the fact that he simply has far too much power. After how LeBron acted towards Tristan Thompson on Friday night in their matchup with the Detroit Pistons, those rumbling are only going to get louder.

Late in the second quarter with the Cavs ahead, Thompson was switched onto Reggie Jackson on the perimeter and the Detroit point guard made the wise move to try and take him off of the dribble. This could very well be nothing as professional athletes often get caught up in the moment during the action of a game. However, given everything that’s going on with the Cavaliers and all of the reported unrest throughout the team, that certainly shines a little brighter of a light on an incident like this than there otherwise would be.
