High Salary C

DeMarcus Cousins-Sacramento Kings (11,300): Cousins price continues to rise, and his production has to be incredible to be worth his 11,300 salary.  He has been producing at that rate lately though with at least 53 fantasy points in five of his last six games.  He had 26 points, ten boards, six assists, and five blocks against the Pelicans on Thursday, and only has really struggled in one game this month.  In January, he’s averaging a phenomenal  32.6 points, 12. rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.2 blocks.  He’s in a tough matchup tonight against the Grizzlies who have allowed the fewest fantasy points to opposing centers so far this season, but it’s hard to leave Boogie off of any roster at any price given his recent run of dominance.

Brook Lopez-Brooklyn Nets (8,100): The Pelicans have allowed the second-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing centers which should set up Brook Lopez for a good game tonight in New Orleans. Lopez has posted double-doubles in five of his last six games with over 50 fantasy points in three of those six games.  He had 28 points and 12 boards last night against the Mavericks and the only concern for Lopez tonight is the possibility of fatigue as he takes on the Pelicans. ∗∗

Marcin Gortat-Washington Wizards (6,900): Gortat has at least 25 fantasy points in each of his six games since returning from his knee injury.  He has five double-doubles in those six games and will look for the chance to keep things going tonight against the Rockets.  He had 18 points and 13 rebounds the first time these two teams met, and he should be a solid option for tonight if you have to spend under 7K.
