No. 14 Iowa State Cyclones vs No. 5 Texas A&M Aggies
It seems like every game for the Iowa State Cyclones is against a top-ranked team. In fact, this contest on Saturday afternoon will mark Iowa State’s third in four games against a top-five team. “Hilton Magic” has worked in both of the previous games as the Cyclones have taken down No. 1 Oklahoma and No. 4 Kansas at home.

Senior forward Georges Niang will need to be on his ‘A’ game for this one as road contests are an entirely different animal, especially in a rowdy atmosphere such as Reed Arena in College Station. He’s currently leading the team with 19.3 points along with 6.4 rebounds per game. Monte Morris has been phenomenal at point, averaging 15.5 points and 7.0 assists per game.
Looking forward to this conference crossover game, the Texas A&M Aggies will try to keep their top-five ranking with a decisive win over Iowa State. The Aggies were defeated for just the third time all season long at Arkansas last week. Texas A&M has surely been one of the nation’s biggest surprises, topping the SEC.
Senior guard Jalen Jones seems to be keeping the engine afloat. He leads the team with 17.1 points as well as 7.0 rebounds per game while shooting just over 38 percent from behind the arc. Fellow senior Danuel House is second on the team with 15.8 points to go along with 5.2 rebounds, but his shooting percentage isn’t ideal.
