Warriors beatdown of 76ers puts Philly fans to sleep
By Mike Dyce
The Golden State Warriors are putting such a beatdown on the Philadelphia 76ers that fans are falling asleep.
The Golden State Warriors are in Pennsylvania to play the Philadelphia 76ers. And when the NBA’s best team and the NBA’s worst team clash, you can expect a beatdown.
At the half the Warriors were issuing the Sixers a classic beatdown with a 19-point lead, 73-54. It looks like some fans, who presumably paid a decent amount of money for tickets even though it is the Sixers, decided to tune out and just use the opportunity to get some shut eye.
That’s right, the Warriors are issuing such a beatdown to the Sixers that fans are literally going to sleep in the arena.
He has to get some amount of credit for even bothering to make it out to a Sixers game, though he probably came to see the Warriors. But still, it’s half time and this was an afternoon game, not a late night game even.
But this is just par for the course with the Warriors.
And to think, this fan missed one of the rarest of events in NBA action… Stephen Curry airballing a three-pointer.
