5 teams that could help Johnny Manziel clean up his act

2. Dallas Cowboys
Many people may laugh at this idea, but the Dallas Cowboys really do have the kind of organization that could help someone like Johnny Manziel get his act together and fix his career. In 2010, the Cowboys drafted the immensely talented, but highly troubled wide receiver Dez Bryant.
As is the case with young players that come into the league with some skeletons in their closets, things didn’t change overnight for Bryant. The first couple seasons he was in Dallas were full of turmoil, both big and small.
In the end, Dallas put a set of rules together for Bryant to follow and he wound up becoming one of the best receivers in the game. While Dez still gets hate for his antics, the fact is his emotional outbursts are nothing compared to what they could have been after reports of the issues with his mother back in 2012.
For Manziel, the team could be just as beneficial. It’s no secret that he loves the Cowboys and would feel way more honor to play for them than the team that drafted him in 2014.
Head coach Jason Garrett has punished players in the past for their attitudes and failure to adhere to the rules and would have no problem letting Manziel know where he stands with the team. The fear of losing out on his dream job would be too great for Manziel to ignore; things could actually work out for him in Big D.
