4. New Orleans Pelicans

If the Bulls want to do an easy player-for-player swap, then they could call up New Orleans and do a swap of Taj Gibson for Ryan Anderson with their salaries matching up. Now the Bulls might have to throw in a sweetener to make the deal official, but this is another one of these deals that makes a ton of sense.

With Anderson on the roster, the Bulls would be adding another big man who could space the floor and would be the big time deep threat up front that Fred Hoiberg wants on his roster.

In the playoffs, the Bulls can provide a shut down physical defense, but if they can add a player that can help them outpace teams, then they could be a threat to win the Eastern Conference.

Imagine Derrick Rose and Jimmy Butler driving inside with a chance to kick the ball out to a wide open Anderson for three. That’s something that would have everyone in Chicago salivating at the very thought of.

The game has changed over recent years and having a big man who can knock down shots from deep with consistency is a must. The Bulls are set to get Nikola Mirotic back soon and he can already can provide range from deep, but getting another guy with him would be just what the Bulls need to be a contender.
