John Terry will not return to Chelsea next season, which has set social media ablaze.
John Terry is finally set to leave Chelsea FC after 21 years with the club. It seems as though it’s part of a plan to get rid of the old regime and inject some new life into the team after they plummeted towards the bottom of the table at the start of the season.
Terry is a much beloved figure by the Chelsea family because of the undying loyalty he’s shown to the club. Fans will always remember him as their captain, leader, and legend.

I wish that the fans at the Bridge go on a real protest against the board in support of John Terry so that they realize their mistake. #CFC

However much the love, Terry also owns a shady past. As such, people – especially fans of other clubs – haven’t forgotten about it. Regardless of what he did or said off the pitch, his legacy has already been set.
#JohnTerry...sleeps with his team mate's missus, racially abuses a fellow player, takes 10K bribe for a tour...the PL is losing a true gent!

Lots of people dislike John Terry for lots of reasons, but no argument has been a great defender for club and country.

Curiously, Terry hinted at a possible move elsewhere when he said he wouldn’t retire at Chelsea. Unsurprisingly, that’s when the MLS jokes started flowing.

John Terry says he's leaving Chelsea (and England) at season's end. Very few MLS teams with DP centerbacks, but 1 of them won MLS Cup in '15

As with the likes of Gerrard and Carragher, don't see John Terry anywhere else in England other than Chelsea. US beckons.

How long until we hear John Terry has signed with the LA Galaxy?

For a team that’s had so much turmoil this season, it seemed like today was too good to be true. The Blues beat MK Dons in the FA Cup in a game where Loftus-Cheek started, Oscar scored a first-half hat-trick, Hazard scored his first goal of the season, and Bertrand Traore came on and scored too. Yet after the game they ended up drawing Manchester City in the fifth round, and Terry’s departure was confirmed. The roller-coaster season continues.
