2. Los Angeles Clippers

The Los Angeles Clippers are in win now mode, they have a very talented roster, and play well as team. It seems like the Clippers are always gauging interest in players whom have immense talent, haven’t fully reached their potential, and can’t quite find a role on their former teams. Lance Stephenson, Austin Rivers, Josh Smith, and Wesley Johnson are a few examples of players that fit that mold and have had success with the Clippers. Doc Rivers is a big believer in player-development and will do whatever it takes to get the most out of his players.

Shabazz Muhammad’s close ties to Los Angeles and his slow but steady improvement could be something the Clippers would be interested in. The Clippers are deep and have many veterans that expect to play. Creating a situation in which Muhammad could get buried on the bench would be incredibly regressive to the 23-year-old’s career. However, if the Clippers can move veteran Jamal Crawford or suffer injuries to key players, Shabazz could find himself playing big minutes with a contender and ultimately a potential starting spot down the line. Age is playing a factor in the current Clippers line-up and looking for young talented players should be at the top of the list for the Los Angeles Clippers future plans.
