The Detroit Red Wings have zero chill as they pointed out that John Scott has more career All-Star game goals than Sidney Crosby

John Scott has emerged from the NHL All-Star weekend as its biggest winner. Not only did he make his daughters proud and give a huge middle finger to those who doubted him, he helped lead the Pacific Division to victory in the All-Star three-on-three tournament. Truly an incredible weekend from one of the nicest guys in hockey. Whoever runs the Detroit Red Wings Twitter account isn’t quite as nice as Scott.

Impressive trolling there. John Scott scored two goals during the All-Star three-on-three tournament, giving him two career All-Star goals. Meanwhile, Pittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby (who has only been to one All-Star game) has only scored one All-Star game goal in his career.

Scott was named the All-Star game MVP this season after scoring two goals to lead his team to a victory over the Central Division in their first game. He is currently playing for the St. John’s IceCaps of the American Hockey League. He played for the Arizona Coyotes but was traded to the Montreal Canadiens. The 2016 All-Star game will likely be the highlight of Scott’s career and he’s probably fine with that.
