Cleveland Cavaliers vs Indiana Pacers
The top team in the Eastern Conference to this point in the season has been the Cleveland Cavaliers, and it hasn’t really been close. Playing without Kyrie Irving for about 25 games didn’t have that much of a negative affect as LeBron James and the rest of the Cavs carried the load. Cleveland has won 6-of-7 games and is 2.5 games ahead of the Toronto Raptors in first place.

LeBron has been his usual MVP-type self through the first half of the year, pulling this team together even in times of adversity — such as the firing of David Blatt. James is averaging 24.9 points, 7.1 rebounds and 6.4 assists per game. Kyrie is averaging 16.4 points and 3.8 assists per game since coming back from his injury.
Indiana, on the other hand, is fighting to remain in playoff position before the season comes to an end. There’s still plenty of time to climb in the rankings, but the Pacers are in seventh place with a shot to earn a top-five seed before the season’s over. With a healthy Paul George, the Pacers will be hard to beat down the stretch.
Taking down the Cavaliers won’t be an easy task, but with George on his game, the Pacers will be in good hands. He’s averaging 23.5 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. Monta Ellis is second on the team in scoring with 14.3 points per game while George Hill is also having a solid year, despite his odd hair color choice.
