FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-February 1
Start the new month of DFS Fantasy basketball with my FanDuel daily picks for this Monday, February 1, highlighting the best fantasy plays from tonight’s nine games.
The NBA has nine games on tap for tonight as we start a new week and a new month of DFS fantasy basketball. There are plenty of big-name stars getting ready to take the floor including the two Thunder stars taking on John Wall and the Wizards while LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and DeMarcus Cousins (maybe) play in other games on tonight’s schedule. My FanDuel daily picks on the following slides will tell you which stars I think are worth their price and which sleeper options I think are set up for success.

The Cavs and LeBron James get us started at 7:00 PM ET tonight which is when FanDuel rosters will lock down for the night. Cleveland is in Indiana to take on the Pacers tonight followed at 7:30 by the Pistons and Nets meeting in Brooklyn. At 8:00, three games get underway as the Pelicans host Memphis, the Thunder host the Wizards, and the Hawks take on the Mavericks. At 8:30, the Spurs welcome in the Magic followed at 9:00 by Raptors-Nuggets and Bulls-Jazz. The final game of the night features Boogie’s Kings hosting the Bucks, but Cousins is considered questionable after leaving Friday’s game with a sprained left ankle.
The Mavs, Bulls, Hawks, and Magic are playing for the second night in a row while the Bucks and Raptors are on the front half of their back-t0-backs. Fatigue is just one thing to consider as you make your selection from the 18 teams in action tonight. To see who I like the most, check out my FanDuel daily picks on the following slides. You’ll find two slides per position–one for high-salary options and one for high-value options. Each slide contains at least two selections with extras thrown in where possible. I base each pick on the current form of each player and the positional matchups each player will face in tonight’s game.
In January, I started to rank my picks using stars after each selection. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence. On the final slide of the post, you can see my results for the month of January at each level of confidence. Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my lineup for today’s contests.
