Here are my FanDuel NBA picks for February 2:

Next: Point Guards

Jan 4, 2016; Salt Lake City, UT, USA; Houston Rockets guard Patrick Beverley (2) directs his team to open men during the fourth quarter against the Utah Jazz at Vivint Smart Home Arena. Mandatory Credit: Jeff Swinger-USA TODAY Sports

Point Guards:

PG – Marcus Smart – Smart is really coming into his own right now and playing very well. He is still a pretty decent bargain and especially for a night with only five game on the docket. He has been over 30 fantasy points in four of his last five games and at this price that makes him a great bargain.

PG – Patrick Beverley – Beverley has been pretty impressive as of late. Much like Smart he has played really well in four of his last five games and is averaging around 27 fantasy points. At only $4,800 he is a nice bargain player and should be a nice option for us.

Next: Shooting Guards

Jan 30, 2016; Houston, TX, USA; Houston Rockets guard James Harden (13) reacts after a play during the fourth quarter against the Washington Wizards at Toyota Center. The Wizards won 123-122. Mandatory Credit: Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

Shooting Guards:

SG – James Harden – Harden is easily one of the best shooting guards that you can use in daily fantasy basketball, so it would seem to be a no-brainer to use him on a short five game night. Harden has been incredible as usual as of late boasting a 70.9 fantasy points game against the Wizards on January 30.

SG – Langston Galloway – Galloway has been playing well in relief of Jose Calderon. He is right around 30 fantasy points per game over his last four and should look to continue to be a valuable asset regardless of the status of Calderon. However, if Calderon does in fact play I may be looking to  shuffle this lineup around.

Next: Small Forwards

Jan 29, 2016; New York, NY, USA; New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony (7) shoots on a technical during the third quarter against the Phoenix Suns at Madison Square Garden. New York Knicks won 102-84. Mandatory Credit: Anthony Gruppuso-USA TODAY Sports

Small Forwards:

SF – Giannis Antetokounmpo – Antetokounmpo is coming off of a very nice stretch of games. He also just recorded over 40 fantasy points against Heat. He is rolling and looks to not be slowing down. Jump on the ‘Greek Freak’ train and ride him while he is hot.

SF – Carmelo Anthony – Anthony since resting his sore knee for two days has responded nicely with two double-doubles and over 40 points a game. I am hoping that he will continue and be a nice option for us.

Next: Power Forwards and Center

Jan 29, 2016; Salt Lake City, UT, USA; Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns (32) dunks the ball in the second quarter against Utah Jazz forward Derrick Favors (15) and center Rudy Gobert (27) at Vivint Smart Home Arena. Mandatory Credit: Jeff Swinger-USA TODAY Sports

Power Forwards:

PF – Markieff Morris – Morris has been a little bit streaky as of late, but is still a nice value play. I also like him on this short night of games.

PF – Josh Smith – Smith came out of the gate with  guns a blazing, but has since cooled off. I like his price and think that he should have had some time to get in sync with the team and be a more valuable asset to both us, and the Rockets.

Center:

C – Karl-Anthony Towns – I was a little bit skeptical when the Timberwolves selected Towns as the first pick this past year. He, however, has proven himself to be very worthy of the pick. He has been literally beasting and has scored over 46 fantasy points in his past four games.
