Running downĀ whoĀ the Miami Hurricanes need to reel in for National Signing Day?
The Miami Hurricanes are coming off an 8-5 season, which isnāt horrible, but itās not up to the standards that the program wants their football team to be at.
The 2015 season was a tumultuous one, though, as head coach Al Golden was fired after the seventh game. This was coming off an embarrassing 58-0 loss to the Clemson Tigers. Fan, media, and booster pressure finally forced out the embattled coach.
ReplacingĀ Golden is former Georgia Bulldogs head coach Mark Richt, who was with hisĀ SEC team for 15 seasons. He is expected to change the culture in Miami and bring in the top recruits that have been missing from this program for years.
Richt has a tough task ahead of him, though, as there wasnāt much time for him to gauge interest in high school players to come to Miami. He tried bringing along a few who were supposed to go to Georgia, but that hasnātĀ worked out well.
Now the former Hurricanes quarterback has to work on bringing in a recruiting class for the 2016 college football season. Will he be able to lure in players to join the program?
With this in mind, here are fiveĀ must-have recruits for the Hurricanes to sign.
