The Houston Rockets took the lead into the half thanks in part due to James Harden’s three.

The Miami Heat traveled to take on the Houston Rockets in NBA action on Tuesday. It was a tight game with the clock winding down right before the half, yet, James Harden made sure the hosts took the lead into the half with his deep three as the clock neared zero.

The Rockets kept the lead and extended it to five points thanks in part to Harden’s deep three to end the half. Harden might be heavily in the league’s NBA MVP watch and discussion as they near the All-Star Break shortly.

He may not be the best player in the league, but his deep threes and plays like this shows just what he brings to the Rockets.

Harden was able to find an almost open three-point shot thanks to his versatility anywhere he is on the court. It was a beautiful sequence for the Rockets veteran leader. If they are to find success in the second half of the season and make a deep run, look for more deep threes and beautiful dunks from Harden. Watch out, NBA, Harden is hard to stop when he is on fire from beyond the arc or anywhere else on the court.
