JJ Watt is one of the people that doesn’t have a big problem with Cam Newton dancing.

While he’s more than likely going to win the NFL MVP award for this season, Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton has been criticized up and down, and one of the reasons he gets chastised is because of his dancing routines following touchdowns. For some reason or another, even though he’s not really hurting anyone, people have a major issue with Newton getting down after a big play.

On the same token, though, there are people who believe that it’s okay for Newton to dance on the field whenever something positive happens. And it just so happens that one of the people that supports him is probably the best defensive player in the NFL.

Tuesday, JJ Watt took to Twitter to answer a question, and this is where he let his thoughts known on Newton’s dancing, and really, he seems to be all for it.

Really, for all intents and purposes, Watt isn’t wrong there. Newton generally doesn’t even troll opponents with his dancing shticks in the end zone, he’s just out there having a good time. Because, as Watt said, it’s really all just a game and the point is to have fun.

Still, though, people won’t always see it this way and if Cam scores on Sunday in Super Bowl 50, you can bet the detractors will be out as if the Panthers quarterback just started World War 3.
