Markieff Morris has made his feelings about the Phoenix Suns well known. He doesn’t want to be in Phoenix, because they traded his brother away, and he was never very happy with Hornacek as his coach. Morris disliked his coach so much that one time he threw a towel at him and got suspended for it. Towel related suspensions are usually not very good.
Well, Hornacek is gone now and nobody is happier than Morris. So happy that he threw down this major slam against the Toronto Raptors.
Morris has been dreadful all season, and that dunk may be the happiest he’s looked in a year. The post coach firing bump is notorious among NBA teams, and it looks like it’s having a big effect on Morris. Maybe the Suns will start to be a little more watchable now. Well, for at least the next six games until they stop caring again.
